Visit Santa at Fairytale Farm this December

Fairytale Farm Christmas 2015

Santa returns to Fairytale Farm this Christmas on weekends from 5th December to 20th December and daily 21st to 24th December.

At the Farm's magical 'Christmas Fairytale' event, children can meet Santa in his indoor fairytale grotto and receive a present, join in with various festive activities, enjoy all the usual Fairytale Farm attractions and see our enchanting Christmas lights, which are bigger and better for 2015.

Owner Nick Laister says that this year's event will be even more fun-packed than last year's: "Last year many people told us that our grotto was the best they had ever seen, and we do believe that we have a Christmas experience with a difference. There are lots of humorous touches to our grotto and the rest of the farm, which should appeal to adults as well as children, as we want the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit at Fairytale Farm."

Special activities include Christmas cookie decorating, Santa's Christmas hunt and mulled wine and mince pies for the parents.

The animal areas and adventure playground will be open until dusk, after which we switch on our Christmas lights, creating a wonderland of colour.

Nick adds: "This will be a truly magical event which will create special memories. Our spectacular Christmas lights will be bigger and better this year with some new surprises that those who visited last year won't have seen. With a warm and cosy grotto, lots of seasonal activities for the whole family, our unique Christmas lights and all the other usual farm attractions, we believe we have the best Christmas event in the area."

Grotto tickets are £4.95, plus normal farm admission, and this includes Santa visit, gift, Christmas cookie decorating plus the mince pie and mulled wine for the parents. Non-farm visitors can still meet Santa for £7.50. Buy discounted tickets here.

Please note that Mouse Town - which has been specially themed for Christmas - will only be open between 12.30 and 1.30pm.

Sci-Fi Weekend Returns to Fairytale Farm

Fairytale Farm is being invaded by TV's most frightening aliens again this summer, on Saturday and Sunday 15th and 16th August, when the farm park holds its second Sci-Fi Weekend in aid of charity. The aim of the weekend is to raise money for a local charity called Let's Play Banbury, which supports local disabled children, and there will be opportunities to donate to the charity at various places around the farm.

We will have some of the most famous aliens on TV and film roaming around the park all day, with lots of photo opportunities. View a Photo Gallery of last year's event here.

The Sci-Fi Weekend runs from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Put the date in your diary now!
